Mandatory Gear
Each participant will need to carry the following items with them at all times. There will be random gear checks during the event and if you are missing any item you will incur a penalty which may range from a time penalty to
disqualification, depending on the severity of the breach.
Recommended Items
Drop/ Support Bag
100km Participants can leave one drop/support bag for checkpoint 4 (42.4Km fung ying seen koon) and the finish. Only one bag per person is permitted to be dropped at each of CP4 and the finish. After a participant passes through CP4, his or her bag will be transported to the finish. The size of the supply bag cannot be larger than 10 liters. Participants must collect the stored supply bag in person or by entrusting others to pick up the supply bag before the finish line. At the end of the competition, the organizer will dispose of any unretrieved supply bags or luggage. Please note that the event organizer is not responsible for any loss or damage to the items in the stored supply package. Participants are not allowed to place any valuables in their supply bags.

| b) | Two headlamp/torch (with batteries) |
| c) | A whistle |
| d) | An emergency space blanket or equivalent |
| e) | Capacity to carry at least 1.5 litres of water (water bladder or water bottles) |
| f) | 2 energy bars / food portions |
| g) | A Ziploc bag for your personal rubbish |
| h) | Race bib |
| i) | Some cash |
| j) | Cup – No disposable cups will be provided at the checkpoints |
| k) | Utensils (e.g. Chopsticks, fork or spoon) |
