1. Disclaimer, Participant Declaration and Guarantee
By submitting the application form, you confirm your participation in "Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023" and hereby declare and warrant as follows:
1.1 You acknowledge that you voluntarily participate in "Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023" and are willing to bear your own risk and responsibility. You agree to assume all liability for any loss or damage arising out of or in connection with your participation in Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023, including if you fail to complete Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023 or withdraw from the Contest, during practice, while traveling to or from the Contest, or on any other occasion. death, injury, property damage, loss, or any other economic loss, or any consequential loss, resulting from an accident or mishap arising out of or in connection with this competition. You/your supporter agree to indemnify and hold the Organisers harmless from any loss or liability (including any third party claims) incurred by the Organisers as a result of your/your supporter's acts or omissions.
2. Personal Data of Participants
You agree that the Organisers have the right to collect, store and use the personal data (as defined in the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance) provided by you on one or more forms (including electronic forms) for purposes related to "Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023" (including but not limited to the preparation, promotion or publicity of "Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023"). You agree that such collection, storage and use are lawful. You also agree that the Organizer may release your personal information to its agents, successors, support organizations and other related parties for purposes related to "Dark45 by The Peak Hunter 2023" and other areas of work. You have the right to request access and correction of the information we hold about you by emailing the organizer at event@thepeakhunter.com.
3. Participant Health Declaration
You confirm that you are in good mental and physical health and are capable of handling the event and have not been diagnosed by a medical practitioner as being physically unfit to participate in the event.
This disclaimer is available in both English and Chinese. In the event of a conflict between the English and Chinese versions, the English version shall prevail.
