Organisers - Far East Adventure Racers also known as Team FEAR
Event - Team FEAR Junior Challenge
Participant - Named individual or individuals either participating or volunteering in the event

In consideration of the Organisers (as defined) agreeing to accept the named individual in the digital Team FEAR Junior Challenge Consent and Liability Form (the Participant) as an entrant to (the Event) I hereby give consent for the Participant to take part in the Event in Discovery Bay.

In the event the Participant is under 18 years of age at the time of the event, these Consent and Liability conditions must be agreed by a parent or legal guardian.

I acknowledge that there are risks involved in the activities organised for the Event and that, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I therefore agree and accept that all persons and entities connected with the organisation of the Event (the Organisers) shall not be liable for any direct or indirect losses, property damage, illness, injury or death, howsoever caused and whether or not foreseeable, that the Participant may sustain or cause during or resulting from their participation in the Event (Losses). 

I therefore hereby release and discharge the Organisers from all liability for any Losses.

I hereby give the Organisers and any third parties acting for/on behalf of the Organisers the irrevocable, transferable and worldwide right to publish, use, adapt and exploit, in perpetuity, any and all information and materials in whatever medium (including without limitation, photographs, videos and films) about and/or featuring the Participant whether or not in conjunction with any other works, drawings, photographs, or illustrations in connection with any and all exhibitions, public displays, broadcasts, recordings, transmissions, internet usage, publications, promotions or advertisements without limitation or reservation in connection with the Event. I agree that the rights granted under this Consent and Liability Form shall be without prior notice or additional compensation to me and/or the Participant, and I waive any right that I/the Participant may have to inspect or approve any such information or materials or any use of them. 

I understand and agree that, subject to the other provisions of this paragraph, if the Event is cancelled I will receive a full refund of my entry fee but that I will not be entitled to any additional expenses incurred. However, I further acknowledge and agree that if the Event is postponed due to bad weather, or any other reason beyond the control of the Organisers, no refund of my entry fee will be made. Please understand that no refunds will be entertained for any competitor cancellations and those fees will be forfeited.

I realise that if any participants have health problems they should not join the Event unless they have received their doctor's advice to the contrary. I confirm that the Participant is physically and medically fit to participate in the Event.

I hereby confirm and certify that the Participant and/or I have read and understood this Consent and Liability Release Form and the Race Rules and I fully accept and agree to the Event terms on behalf of the Participant, myself, my representatives, heirs, assigns and next of kin.
