Postponement and Cancellation Policies

Refunds
Entry fees are not refundable under any circumstance, even in the event of cancellation.

Rescheduling
If the event is affected by bad weather or other reasons, such as government regulations, the organizer will try their best to reschedule the event. Your entry will automatically be transferred to the new date, which will be announced to all registrants by e-mail and via website announcement. There will be no refund even if the organizer is unable to reschedule the event.

Change of event
There will be a $50 fee to switch distance subject to availability. If an athlete is transferring from a lower-priced event to a higher-priced distance event, the athlete will be required to pay the difference in addition to the transfer fee. There will be no refund for the difference in registration fee if transferred to a lower-priced event. The deadline for the distance switch is 7 days before the event day. Open Water Swim Series Hong Kong / Swim Bike Run Club reserves the right to final interpretation of all rules, regulations and policies.
