The Mountain Range 50 trail running race will be held on 23rd December 2017 and is open to both solo and 2-person teams of runners . The 48 km long course features a 2,400(+) m cumulative elevation gain that traverses the North East of the New Territories, mainly within the Pat Sin Leng Country Park; passing through a number of country trails, ancient trail, steep hills and reservoirs along the way.

Runners climb up the remote mountain of Wo Keng Shan and the highest mountain of North NT Robin's Nest, overlooking the Shenzhen border and the sea view of Starling Inlet. The final section of the course goes over Pat Sin Leng range , rewarding runners with the beautiful views of Plover Cove reservoir.

越嶺50於2017年12月23日舉行，全長距離48公里，總爬升約2400米，組別有個人和兩人隊際。賽事路線環走新界東北群山一圈，主要圍繞八仙嶺郊野公園，沿途經過多條郊遊徑、古道、陡坡山徑和水塘。其中踏上足跡罕至的禾徑山，登上北區最高的紅花嶺，遠眺深圳邊境，俯瞰沙頭角海。最後跨越連綿起伏的八仙嶺群山，飽覽整個船灣淡水湖壯麗景色。
